I know a ‘Jeopardy’ champ

True story: First week we were in Colorado, we went to the McCabe’s trivia thing just to see what it was all about. We didn’t know anyone in town, and we were stressed about the move, the new job, etc. And we could use a beer.

Christopher Short on Jeopardy

Former Springs resident Christopher Short is making short work of his opponents. Ohh, that's terrible, I know. I'm sorry.

I still smoked then, and I was outside when Christopher Short introduced himself to me — apparently we were coworkers. Nice guy. Smarter than me.

He eventually left to do something far away, and I’m still doing the same thing I was doing when he left. Now, of course, he’s a “Jeopardy” phenomenon.

The more money he makes, the better friends I will probably make him out to be in this blog. At some point, probably around the $150,000 mark, he will have been my roommate.

Meanwhile, here’s what he had to say after his fifth win (he’s won six now, by the way).
