My Colorado garden

I haven’t really posted much about my garden this year, so here goes!

Next year I hope to have a regular in-ground veggie garden but there was no time and no funds for it this year. Plus I wanted to check our yard this summer to figure out where the best spot for it will be. We get a lot of sun, but now I know how to maximize it when I plan my garden next year.

I built the same hail shelter this year as last. It worked well then and it’s worked well this year. We had some major hail last month and the stuff that was under the shelter was fine. The other things got pretty beat up. They could mostly handle it, tho. The tomatoes are much more delicate. The flowers are easily knocked off and without flowers there are no tomatoes.

I started the seeds indoors. This was right before I transplanted them outside.
