I didn’t intend to pay $30 for a shot of bourbon, but that’s exactly what happened. We also didn’t intend to go out for dinner this night, but as were walking out of the Fine Arts Center, we overheard someone in a small group of people say the word barbecue. We are weak when it comes to [...] Drifter’s Hamburgers in Colorado Springs. Really good. Sorta like In N Out but better fries. For some unknown reason they don’t have their hours or their address on their website. DUH. Anyway, I think they’re open till about 9pm and they’re located at 4455 Mark Dabling Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO 80907 Drifter’s Hamburgers, Colorado Springs Drifter's Hamburgers, [...] Spicy Latte from Cacao in Eagle Rock. Super delish but maybe too spicy for some. We also had breakfast there this time while we did laundry next door. My dryer broke, OF COURSE and since my new tenant has her own washer/dryer I didn’t bother to replace mine so it was off to the laundromat a whole [...] As you probably know, the weather in Colorado is crazy. It’s been in the 70′s for awhile and today it’s 27 degrees. Supposed to be in the low 70s again next week for a day or two, so we’ll see. Having a hard time getting my summer list done with this flakey weather! Anyhow, lots of pics behind [...] Last week we went to Metropolitain (Those girls from the website weren’t there, heh). But the bartender seemed to like DM and gave him a whole mess of whiskey tastings! Pretty sunflower along a bike ride. Mountain Shadows Restaurant which was only OK. The cats helped DM fix my car window. I made some white bean dip, homemade pita chips [...] |
