These cool old chairs have been sitting on our deck since we moved in. They are super vintage but were all messed up, and not in a good way. So Mike stripped them and painted one of them blue. The other one he stripped and we liked it that way so we left it. We’ll see [...] My tomatoes are still moving along. There are lots of flowers and some actual tomatoes on them now. The hail shelter has worked and they are getting a lot of sun. I hope I can actually get ripe tomatoes this year! First of all, it was really hard to put the top frame on with one person. And secondly, the duct tape just didn’t stay and the plastic came off the frame. So, I decided to use clamps instead. Now the plastic stays secure [...] It is very hit or miss growing tomatoes up here at 6300 feet. Some years I’ve done it, no problem, other years, nothing.
