Food trucks are all the rage in the big cities these days. There are all kinds of different foods and the trucks go everywhere. They usually let people know where they’re going to be via Facebook or Twitter. The Buttermilk Truck was at The Americana At Brand last time I was in L.A. Chris And David [...] This is a new thing we’re trying- we’ll give you five fun things to do this weekend. You let us know what you did and how it went in the comments section. It’s supposed to be a really nice weekend and is even going to get to 70 degrees on Sunday, so go outside! Bistro French Toast [...] Last week we went to Metropolitain (Those girls from the website weren’t there, heh). But the bartender seemed to like DM and gave him a whole mess of whiskey tastings! Pretty sunflower along a bike ride. Mountain Shadows Restaurant which was only OK. The cats helped DM fix my car window. I made some white bean dip, homemade pita chips [...] Bistro French Toast from our fave Maggie Mae’s. Homemade tostadas and Spanish rice. Mini picnic on the side porch. Good afternoon sunshine. Cheesecake for breakfast! This morning we went to “Homegrown on Tejon” which is a tiny farmers market right down the street. The vendors have to sell things that are grown here- like within 10 miles or something. [...] We had a fun day yesterday. Not only did we make a Kenny Chesney sock puppet video, which cracked me up for hours and hours, but we went to Target and LOLed our butts off over various things. Then went to several bars to play pool, play trivia and just drink. We also ate yummy food at Phantom [...] |
