We went to Nosh again for happy hour last week. Of course it was fab. I had a glass of malbec and Mike had some Jim Beam and a beer. We both had cheeseburgers and shared some sweet potato fries. Delish! Nosh, Colorado Springs Check out this hair. Sheesh, I spent like an hour washing it, blow [...] I think I’ve mentione that it is really hard to cook beans up here at 6200 feet. So the other day I thought I’d go ahead and try to do them in the slow cooker. I had finished some in the slow cooker awhile back but I hadn’t done them from the start in it before.
So, one place we go all the time but hardly ever talk about is Rico’s Cafe and Wine Bar- it’s part of Poor Richard’s. You know, the bookstore, toy store, and restaurant downtown. Latte from Poor Richards/Ricos, Colorado Springs They have all kinds of sandwiches, salads, and pizzas. Their pizza is really good. Their hummus plate is one [...] Somehow I recently got on a Mexican food kick. But I wanted real Mexican food, not chain restaurant Mexican food. We’ve been to a few local places and remain unimpressed, so I thought I’d go ahead and make it myself.
