Ok, first off, you need to go here. Second, don’t confuse it with the other two crepe places on Tejon Street. Those are all fancy and expensive. This one is casual and extremely well priced. They could raise their prices a dollar or even two dollars more per crepe and I’d still go! Anyhow, it is the newest crepe [...] Here are some quick words and pics about one of my favorite places in Colorado Springs, La Baguette. I think there are two or three of them but the one I always go to is on Pikes Peak, downtown, next to the movie theatre. La Baguette, Colorado Springs I’m not crazy about the decor. It’s not horrible but [...] Some things I’ve made lately. Chocolate chip cookies from Joy of Cooking, which is by far the best recipe out there, way better than Toll House. Also instead of using regular chocolate chips I used these yummy little dark chocolate disks by Felchlin that I chopped up a little. Super tasty. Chocolate chip cookies, yum. Grandma's [...] We recently went to the Park Bench Cafe in Huntington Beach. It’s in a park! There are little plastic tables with umbrellas to sit at. They also allow dogs (who even have their own menu!), which is sort of fun. But the food was only mediocre (its just the usual breakfast and lunch stuff) and the [...] Food trucks are all the rage in the big cities these days. There are all kinds of different foods and the trucks go everywhere. They usually let people know where they’re going to be via Facebook or Twitter.
