So, one place we go all the time but hardly ever talk about is Rico’s Cafe and Wine Bar- it’s part of Poor Richard’s. You know, the bookstore, toy store, and restaurant downtown. We ate at the usual spots! Mom and Chris at Trattoria Amici at The Americana At Brand, Glendale, CA I have to figure out how to make this stuff! Amazing bread at Trattoria Amici Chris had their famous little meatballs and a salad I had penne with [...] Downtown having some coffee at Pikes Perk and relaxing a little on a Friday afternoon, everything’s going well. No troubles at all. Thinking maybe we’ll go home and build a fire and play some cards. Maybe some Boggle. Phone rings, and it’s Mom. She says, hey, we’re in your ‘hood and thinking you guys might [...] Well, it’s supposed to be pretty crappy this weekend with chilly weather and thunderstorms. So you might want to stay inside. The public library downtown is a neat place. You can go to the back, to the original library, where they have all kinds of historical documents and photographs.
